Therapy FAQs

Are appointments available through telehealth or in-person?

1

I currently offer appointments solely through telehealth, on a HIPAA-compliant virtual video platform.

I don’t live in Georgia or I travel frequently. Can I still see you?

2

I hold the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) credential granted by the PSYPACT Commission. I am able to see patients located in the following states and territories: AL, AZ, AR, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NV, NH, NJ, CNMI, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY.

Do you accept insurance?

3

I am in-network with Aetna. I am also considered an out-of-network provider for most health insurance plans. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement of my private pay rates (see below). If we work together, I’d be happy to provide you with receipts (“superbills”) that you can submit to your insurance company. I recommend that all potential clients contact their insurance company before initiating therapy to find out more about their out-of-network reimbursement options.

What are your private pay rates?

4

My private-pay rates are as follows:

75-minute intake evaluation: $325
30-minute therapy session: $130
50-minute therapy session: $215
60-minute therapy session: $260

I hold a number of very low-fee slots for CNAs, RNs, and med techs in Georgia who are seeking short-term therapy to address concerns with insomnia or nightmares. Please indicate in your appointment request if you are a nurse/med tech and interested in this service.
